Anne-Marie Duff (born in England) is an English actor and narration. Following her graduation in Drama Centre London Duff made television appearances in Trial & Retribution Amongst Women and Aristocrats in the late 1990s. Her fame was boosted by her role as Fiona Gallagher on the first two seasons of the UK television series Shameless. The Virgin Queen (2006) featured her as queen Elizabeth in The Virgin Queen, and she also performed the principal part from From Darkness (2015). Duff played roles in movies such as Enigma (2001) The Magdalene Sisters Notes on a Scam (2006) French Film (2008) The Last Station and Nowhere Boy Before I Go to Sleep (2014) as well as Suffragette (2015). She also appeared in the films The Virgin Queen Shameless Nowhere Boy Suffragette, Shameless as well as the Virgin Queen earned her BAFTA nods for Best Actresses and Best Supporting Actresses. The History of Mr Polly was the film in which she won the BAFTA Cymru Award as Best Actress. Anne-Marie Duff has been a popular award-winning English actress who has made her mark on the TV, stage and on the radio. The actress gained fame in the mainstream as Fiona Gallagher from the British comedy drama Shameless.
