Morgan was a featured actress in AIDS prevention and education video Safe Sex for Men and Women. A portion of the profits was donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She's a part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is the leader of numerous other fund-raising projects for the disease as well as testified in front of a specific Congressional committee about AIDS education. Morgan is also a member of the Board of Directors for Amfar and on the Board of Governors of APLA. The former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop has asked her on occasion to fill in for him in AIDS celebrations and she's presented an AIDS Awareness Special together with news anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell and Morgan have appeared on Nightline at least twice, to discuss AIDS. Morgan was nominated for the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially specifically for Morgan. Morgan co-starred on ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife during the spring season with Joan Rivers. The summer was kicked off with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. Productions like Von Zerneck/Sertner also featured Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. After that, she was sent to Luxembourg to film the Harmony Gold's Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee also appeared in the film. Morgan also starred as the protagonist in a psychological thriller that was produced exclusively for the USA Network. It received one of the best ratings ever recorded by the network.
